Will changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it?

Will changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it? - Been playing guitar for a year, just bought a bass, want to mainly play bass for a bit. will my guitar playing skills go way down, stay the same, or go up?

FlameWill changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it?That is entirely up to you and what you do with it. You can Jam your a** off with a bass if you want to! Listen to some Victor Wooten or the Band SMV as a good example of Bass Jams. Will changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it?more than likely not. Will changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it?improve it, if you still regularly play the guitar, obviously it will make it worse if you don't play guitar any more. But you'll find you have more reach with ur fingers and you'll have a lot more musical theory knowledge. Will changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it?well it will help you skills but only if you keep practice up on both . if you drop the guitar for the bass for any lngth of time your guitar skills will go gown and actually it all depends on how long you were playing , a guy playing 20 years would have no trouble laying the guitar down for 6 months whereas 6 months with no playing would be bad for a person only playing a year or twoWill changing from mainly guitar to mainly bass hurt my guitar playing, or improve it?i go back and forth playing guitar and bass all the time.

call me crazy but i luv this punk/upright 3-string bass
