Will legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?

- And will it prevent me from owning a gun as well?

- It's because I been having family problems %26amp; I DON'T want to relate to my parents anymore. I just want them out of my life %26amp; live in a future I want to live in.Will legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?I personally don't see how it could. Will legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?maybeWill legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?yes it will

keep your last name or marry someone and take theresWill legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?I changed my last name at the age of 18. I went on to be a senior NCO in the US Army with a Top Secret Cosmic Atomal NATO Crypto security clearance. I doubt changing your name will prevent you from achieving anything in life that you are capable of. It certainly did not slow me down.

RetiredWill legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?Absolutely not. Changing your name doesn't mean you lose your identity or personal history such as for back round checks and what not. When you change your name, it shows up in a good back round check. It also doesn't mean that your social security number will change either (your primary form of identification). Even if you did change your social security, that would also show up in a good back round check. Everything you do that involves paperwork is traceable by the government and will not hender your career goals in any way shape or form. Will legally changing my name prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective? That would depend on what the purpose was in changing your name. If it was just because you wanted a different name then no problem. If it was because you wanted to hide something in your past then not the different name but the reason may have an effect on your becoming a detective. If it is because of the past and wasn't too serious then give it a try anyway. Explain the reason in your application.

  • Will changing to a dvorak keyboard layout have benefits?

When I can already touch type on the qwerty layout. Will changing to a dvorak keyboard layout have benefits?Yes - the Dvorak layout requires less 榟urdling?over keys and less total finger travel, so you'll probably learn to type faster with this than on a qwerty.

    %26quot;Listed as the world檚 fastest typist, [Barbara Balckburn] can type 212 WPM on a Dvorak keyboard. She can also type 150 WPM, and maintain that speed for 50 minutes without stopping! (37,500 key strokes)%26quot;

Lots of information here: http://members.networld.com/dvorak/TypinWill changing to a dvorak keyboard layout have benefits? In response to the above, there will be a learning curve, at first it will be slower because you are used to the QWERTY layout. Once you have mastered Dvorak, it will be better but then everyone else will still be using QWERTY. You'd think you could know both at the same time and with practice, you might be able too but in the short term that is not how the human mind works. So, there is a personal benefit yes, but not real world benefit because no one is going to adopt the Dvorak layout anytime soon.

If I use a morphing potion on my Lupe, will it change colour?

I have a Lupe that is painted Christmas, but I want to change him into a Cybunny using a morphing potion. If I use the morphing potion on my Christmas Lupe, will the Cybunny my Lupe changes into be Christmas colored? If I use a morphing potion on my Lupe, will it change colour? As far as I know, it depends on the morphing potion you bought.

    %26quot;For instance, a Yellow Elephante Morphing Potion will only change a Red Elephante's color. However, that same potion will completely change a Blue Eyrie [into a Yellow Elephante].%26quot;

So, I hope you bought a Christmas Cybunny morphing potion because other wise you may have to buy/find another Christmas Paint Brush.

Considering the new president will be different from Bush, what changes will Obama make?

It's a given that there will be a change even if McSame is elected, but what real changes can we expect Osama to implement?Considering the new president will be different from Bush, what changes will Obama make?Did you mean to say OBAMA, or Osama? WTF?

Well, I think RON PAUL would work on getting our troops home asap.

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; then he would recommend that CONGRESS act to abolish the Federal Reserve.

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; then he would recommend that CONGRESS move to impeach an attorney general who has refused to do his job (that is enforcing the immigration laws)

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; He would move things in the direction of phasing out the Income tax and balance the budget the right way, that is reduce Government spending.

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; He would whip Congress into line by using his VETO power to kill any legislation that contains pork.Considering the new president will be different from Bush, what changes will Obama make?Obama proposes Jimmy Carter's 1970's changes.

From Jimmy Carter we learned that socialism does not work and we learned trying to fix an economy by raising taxes does not work. Also, even the non-biased Wallstreet Journal says Obama doesn't understand economics.

Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?

    Please post his positives.

Also negatives though. But I want mostly positives, because I want to see how he will change our country in a positive way, in every way you can think of.Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?Making wise decision in Iraq

    Dealing with Energy problems

    Improving Education.

    Environment

    Health Care

    abortion/gay rights

    NEG:

    Handling on foreign policies

Defending from terrorist attacksObama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?1)He wants to end the war in iraq and shift focus on afghanistan and the war on terror

    2) wants to bring the respect of the US back to the world and bring back our allies which he has already started to do just from being elected

3)Doesnt want to socialize healthcare, but take on insurance companies to lower costs to not be denied coverage...and to have a basic plan available to people who cannot afford healthcare.

    4) Bring back the Reagan Progressive taxation system which IS NOT SOCIALISM but it states that tax increases slightly with salary, keeping the burden off the shrinking middle class.

    5) Start an 8 year plan to take our dependence off foreign oil and invest in cleaner newer 21st century energy sources, also increasing number of hybrid cars. This will also create millions of new jobs

6)Tuition credits for civil serviceObama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country? Here is a fun site where you can add on what you would say to the president:

http://www.squidoo.com/dear_mr_presidentObama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?Everyone says they will change the country when they get elected. Saying and doing are two different things, and it's easier to say than it is to do. We cannot know for sure what impact he will have. He WANTS to do some positive stuff, but like I said, it's much easier to say it than it is to actually do it.

From what I heard, he would like to stop the war, and help the economy, but there are negatives in there as well. Someone will lose in order for others to win, and that's positive for the winners but negative for those who lose their rights or whatever.Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?I can quit school, quit my job, I will get free money, Woo Hoo!Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?I notice you have no answers yet.Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?Yes JayH withdrawing from a war when your winning is always a smart decision. (Sarcasm)

Also, handling foreign policies is a negative for you, but making a %26quot;smart%26quot; decision for the war is a positive. Don't they tie together?Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?HE is going to provide opportunity for the poor and unemployed by redistributing the hard working peoples money.

He will also increase Govt programs funding courtesy of raised taxes,

He is going to provide universal healthcare so when you need a DR. it will be just like going to the DMV.

These are all positives Right?Obama is going to be the next president. What positive changes will he have on our country?HUNNY I JUST ASKED A VERY SIMILAR QUESTION AND I AM YET TO GET A GOOD ANSWER FROM OBAMA SUPPORTERS!!!

I JUST THINK THEY VOTED FOR HIM FOR FUN OR CAUSE THEIR SKIN COLOR.

NO ONE COULD SAY ANY POSITIVE CHANGES. THEY JUST SAID HE IS PRESIDENT NOW DEAL WITH IT AND GO BACK AND WATCH ALL THE DEBATES TO GET CAUGHT UP ON WHAT GOOD HE WILL DO FOR OUR COUNTRY.

What will the changing structure of gender roles in society cause?

What are the long term effects of the increasing amount of females in the workforce (they already dominate the work industry and collegiate spheres)? Several decades past you had men primarily as the bread winners that would supply the families, and the amount of single parent households was non existent. Now the exact opposite is true, women are predominantly the bread winners but the discrepancy lies within single parent households and a drastic increase in the abundance of single mothers. Also the preoccupation women have with self support/sufficiency rather than industries in which they had always been primarily concerned with providing or filling (daycare, childcare, schooling) Women are now entering industries like engineering and science, mathematics, business where the likelihood for monetary advancement is high and leaving highly relevant social areas unfilled. This is where men take over as you see many more men as caregivers and childcare workers, volunteers, etc.

What implications do these changing roles have on the future of society? What will the changing structure of gender roles in society cause?%26quot;Remember this: The strongest sign of the decay of a nation is the feminization of men and the masculinization of women. It is notable that in Communist nations women are exhorted, and compelled, to do what has traditionally been men's work. American women, some of them, feel triumphant that they have broken down the %26quot;barricades%26quot; between the work of the sexes. I hope they will still feel triumphant when some commissar forces a shovel or an axe into their soft hands and compels them to pound and cut forests and dig ditches. I hope they will be %26quot;happy%26quot; when a husband deserts them and they must support their children and themselves alone. (After all, if a woman must be %26quot;free%26quot; she shouldn't object to men being free too, should she?%26quot;)

    %26quot;I hope they will feel %26quot;fulfilled%26quot; when they are given no more courtesies due to their sex, and no kindnesses, but are kicked aside on the subways and buses by men, and jostled out of the way by men on busy sidewalks and in elevators. I hope that no man will extend mercy to them because of obvious pregnancies, but will rudely tell them that that is no excuse to shirk a day's heavy labor, and they should be like Russian women. I hope they will be proud when some court demands that they support %26quot;delicate%26quot; husbands for a lifetime, and pay alimony. I hope, when they look in their mirrors, that they will be pleased to see exhausted and embittered faces, and that they will be consoled by their paychecks.%26quot;

It also means that many women will be earning more money than their male partners, which may end up causing some disillusionment or resentment among the male of the species. More men will probably feel a little emasculated, and they will seek ways to compensate.

How will they try to compensate? That is the key question...What will the changing structure of gender roles in society cause? There have always been a lot of women in the workforce. And there have always been single parent families. There are more nowadays, but it is not true to say that they were non existent in the past, nor was it unheard of for women to have to support families. I think however that most people still prefer to raise children in a two parent household. And i doubt that will ever change.

I personally doubt that there are ever going to be as many men looking after children, being carers etc, as women, because i don't think these occupations appeal as much to men as to women. Likewise i don't think there are ever going to be as many women working in science, engineering, etc, because I don't think those occupations appeal as much to women as to men. What will the changing structure of gender roles in society cause? Some of what you describe as %26quot;changing gender roles%26quot; are trends that have been developing for a generation in the west, such as more women in the workplace and more women in professions. But women hardly dominate in industry or academia and there is no particular reason to think women will dominate, just be better represented.

And I have to say that women working is not a new thing at all. The stereotypical housewife wasn't reality for all families by any means and many women had to work too. Single parent households certainly existed given death and divorce and abandonment and yes there were even some single mothers back in the day.

The ideal of the father as breadwinner and mother as contented housewife in a suburban home was the reality for many but it was hardly universal, and it was certainly not perfect. Stress (often from the pressures of keeping up appearences) and alcohol and drug abuse were very common and just kept hidden. And forget domestic violence and sexual abuse, people didn't even talk about that stuff and looked the other way if they could.

As for %26quot;feminine%26quot; tasks of caregiving, I don't think they've gone away. Most day care workers are women and most people who care for others are women and it is most often women who take care of aging parents. And women still volunteer more often than men but I would agree that men volunteer more often than in past generations, which I think is a good thing.

What are the implications of changing gender roles for the future of society? I think mainly that both men and women are participating in social and economic life on the basis of personal ability and preference without arbitrary pigeonholing.

I think the only people who see a downside to that are people who think mindless traditional gender roled are somehow sacred and people who benefit, or maybe think they benefit, from a social set-up which Still discriminates on the basis of sex and denies people the right to pursue whatever they choose based on their interests and capabilities.

.What will the changing structure of gender roles in society cause?Isn't it obvious? The divorce rate will keep climbing, which leads to more single mothers which leads to more crime which means a more chaotic society. Any idiot can argue against facts but appears ever more the idiot.

All one needs is to look at the statistics from the 70's til now.

Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?

Judging by what killed many species many years ago, and the sign of the stars aligned in order, don't you think is time for another earth renewal phase? Are we going to experience something catastrophic as the dinosours and other extinct species did? Why many humans think the earth can tolerate anything and is strong enough to keep up and keep us like that forever? A change will be executed, must be executed and I think we are still lucky that the earth hasn't proceed yet comparing with the dinosaur era which was less damaged, peaceful, instinct oriented and less polluted! Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?Do you have any idea how many so called intellects have predicted the end of existence? The book is just that a book. Only God knows the answer too your questions! Stop getting sucked into the mire! Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar? No.

The only thing that happens in 2012 (according to the Mayan calendar) is that the CALENDAR comes to an end (and any remaining Mayans will need a new one)....

Look at the calendar in your office....it ends on December 31, 2009.... does that mean %26quot;something catastrophic%26quot; will happen the next day? Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?no

and some stars are always aligned, it just depends on where you are looking fromWill the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?no as the world is constantly changing and evolvingWill the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?the calendar simply ends, that's it/

As for it being %26quot;time for a renewal%26quot;, what if that time is 20 years from now? What if it's 20,000 years from now? The last great extinction was 75 million years ago. To decide that the next one has anything whatsoever to do with new-agey claptrap drummed up by conspiracy theorists within the next 3 years is ludicrousWill the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?Yes. Its proved by science that the planet changes. Why would we not think that something catastrophic could happen now,or in the next few years. Many different eras of people have predicted things to happen and humans just really ignore it. Humans are really not the smartest of species, even though we think we are. Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?believing in that is like believing that if a black cat crosses your path you're going to have bad luck. It's a silly prediction of the future... that is as good as astrology or reading a palm.

Silly silly silly. Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?Probably not.

One of several Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or 7057.5 years. The next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. This is not a prediction of the end of the world.

These predictions are scare tactics, conspiracy theories, and chances to make money from books and movies.

Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) End of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 End of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.

%26quot;But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come.%26quot; (Mark 13:32-33)

Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.

The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.

The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.

Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time.

With love in Christ. Will the earth change or renew in 2012 according to the Mayas Calendar?nothing better be happening because im FINALLY graduating in 2012 after spending 18 years listening to nonsense and im definitely not wasting the next/final years of my life filling my head with bull just so that i can graduate.

I WILL NOT LET THE WORLD END IN 2012!

And have America's foreign policies become a laughing stock? What changes will we see in Iraq when the new president is sworn in?That's two years away buddy! What changes will we see in Iraq when the new president is sworn in?you just have to be patient and wait and seeWhat changes will we see in Iraq when the new president is sworn in?they have been the laughing stock for a long time.

What policy changes will create the most number of jobs?

    In my opinion, they are

    1. no more HC reform

    2. No more cap and trade

    3. no more card check

    4. tax holidays for 1 year

    5. no new regulations

These give certainty to business owners and create a business friendly environment. They will then start to risk their money and start hiring, knowing their competitors will be doing the same thing. It won't happen though under the liberal regime. They are only interested in power grab, your job loss is just an inconvenience to them. Where am I wrong? What policy changes will create the most number of jobs?Ending the corporate income tax. What policy changes will create the most number of jobs? That would require getting rid of the current administration and their progressive agenda. They have no intention of giving up on running this country into the ground. What policy changes will create the most number of jobs?I think they need to back off on taxing business. I was shocked to hear that they want to blame business for people who don't have health insurance and then tax them for it. I will be so glad when this President leaves office. What policy changes will create the most number of jobs?cutting ALL taxes on businesses would cause a growth in ALL JOB MARKETS...its been proven time and time again that tax cuts grow the economy,as well as revenue to the govt...it works every time its tried..What policy changes will create the most number of jobs?use the democratic bribe money and open up a plant manufacturing hope and change buttons and sell them to liberals.....What policy changes will create the most number of jobs?i try to write the answers your problem in my blog http://www.mystructuredsettlement.co.cc you can see any problem in my blog.

  • If a patient is hyperventilating due to anxiety what change will occur in the pH?

If a patient is hyperventilating due to anxiety what change will occur in the pH? What acid/base imbalance will he develop? If a patient is hyperventilating due to anxiety what change will occur in the pH?Ooops baby on the way is wrong. Acid base balance is determined through CO2 and HCO3 (bicarb). The CO2 is the acid portion. Rapid respirations that deplete CO2 by blowing it off will result in RESPIRATORY ALKALOSIS. It is pretty hard to hyperventilate above 7.5 (that's breathing really really fast %26amp; for a long time--the only way to get more alkalotic would be via mechanical ventilation). Your kidneys regulate the bicarb and their response is very slow.If a patient is hyperventilating due to anxiety what change will occur in the pH?he wil go into respiratory acidosis---- he is not blowing off his co2, this can be eaisly corected by having them rebreath from a paper bag, good luck! GOD BLESS!!!

EDIT: sorry, therefor his PH will be acidic (under 7.2 approx)

What are the changes my body will go through after I lose my virginity?

I plan on losing my virginity in a few days I'm almost eighteen %26amp; I feel that this is a big step, but I just would like to know what kind of changes will I experience as far as my emotions for my boyfriend my body changes such as my weight(or anything else)will my quiet personality change? What are the changes my body will go through after I lose my virginity? You might gain more sexual confidence, but other than that, I don't think much will change. If your relationship is already strong, I doubt anything will change with it either. Sex should only be added to a stable, happy, loving relationship. If that is the case, it won't change anything.

Use protection. What are the changes my body will go through after I lose my virginity?your pretty much the same person you were before you had sex.

as for me the first person i had sex with i gained deeper feelings for him, and you just never forget that person and what you had with them.

you wont gain weight or anything like that, but emotionally you will change. What are the changes my body will go through after I lose my virginity?Depending on how it goes, you'll just feel more attached and closer to your boyfriend. The only difference in your body is that you'll bleed a bit afterwards, but that's it.You'll feel happier, and you'll enjoy it. Just have fun, and be safe! What are the changes my body will go through after I lose my virginity?well there is no chances to your appearance, or personality. but when we have sex a chemical is released, sort of like a love drug that will make you feel more love for the one you are with.

good luck and have fun xxWhat are the changes my body will go through after I lose my virginity?yeaa things with you and ur boyfriend will deff change id say. Your sharing something very personal with him. He should appreciate it. Just don't let him think that thats all your relationship will continute to be like. Pin and puk will changing my sim reset them?

will changing my sim card reset my pin and puk codes on my nokia 6070 phone (my sister put a pin on and does not know what it is)Pin and puk will changing my sim reset them?Yes it will, well it will reset the PUK, but shouldnt affect the pin. The pin is for the phone, the PUK for the SIM.

Let me change this a bit. If its at the point where the phone is asking for the PUK once you put it in it will ask you to chnge the pin. If you've already entered it wrong too many times then the sim is fried and you'll need a new one, in which case you won't need to know the pin anyways.

All you need is a new sim card, the phone is fine.

What effects will a changing climate have on the biodiversity on our planet?

What types of selection will occur?

I watched An Inconvenient Truth today and was wondering a few questions[:What effects will a changing climate have on the biodiversity on our planet? It will decrease biodiversity.

Species are adapted to a particular habitat. When that habitat changes, the existing species have to either adapt, move or die.

The selection pressure will be can they continue to thrive in the new habitat, and can they out compete other species that may come from somewhere else. Many species have the genetic hardiness to adapt quickly to the new habitat. Other species will have to move if they can.

A change in climate means a change in temperature, but just as important, a change in rainfall and the wet and dry seasons. If ponds dry up too soon, frogs will suffer. If a particular plant a butterfly depends on can't compete with other species that do better in the changed conditions, both the plant and the butterfly may go.

So, to answer your question, diversity will go down. But with change opportunity is created and other species will eventual replace many of the species that failed to survive. What effects will a changing climate have on the biodiversity on our planet?it will reduce diversity.

it's pretty easy to kill organisms off.

(well sometimes, it appears that we're having a hard time with polio.)

but you cannot speed up DNA modifications in nature.

    they just happen randomly.

and not all that fast. What effects will a changing climate have on the biodiversity on our planet? In the short term, at least, a reduction in biodiversity. The type of selection will be linear. What effects will a changing climate have on the biodiversity on our planet?Zero. Since Al Gore produced his propaganda mockumentary, most of what he said has been disproved. Now it has been shown that human generated CO2 cannot increase global temperature because the greenhouse effect was already saturated before the discovery of fossil fuels.

%26quot;The Earth’s atmosphere maintains a constant effective greenhouse-gas content and a constant, maximized, “saturated” greenhouse effect that cannot be increased further by CO2 emissions (or by any other emissions, for that matter). After calculating on the basis of the entire available annual global mean vertical profile of the NOAA/NCAR atmospheric reanalysis database, Miskolczi has found that the average greenhouse effect of the past 61 years (from 1948, the beginning of the archive, to 2008) is:

    * constant, not increasing;

    * equal to the unperturbed theoretical equilibrium value; and

    * equal (within 0.1 C°) to the global average value, drawn from the independent TIGR radiosonde archive.

During the 61-year period, in correspondence with the rise in CO2 concentration, the global average absolute humidity diminished about 1 per cent. This decrease in absolute humidity has exactly countered all of the warming effect that our CO2 emissions have had since 1948.

    Similar computer simulations show that a hypothetical doubling of the carbon dioxide concentration in the air would cause a 3% decrease in the absolute humidity, keeping the total effective atmospheric greenhouse gas content constant, so that the greenhouse effect would merely continue to fluctuate around its equilibrium value. Therefore, a doubling of CO2 concentration would cause no net “global warming” at all.%26quot;

The main threat to biodiversity is human modification of the environment, and the best way to protect biodiversity is to keep humans out of large natural reserves and National Parks. Reducing CO2 output will do nothing at all. Lillyons is right to say %26quot;it's pretty easy to kill organisms off'.

At some point we have to decide whether we want to cover the globe with 100% Cities and farms, or whether we want to preserve a slice of each natural ecosystem in its pristine state. This of course is about conservation, not the fallacy of Climate change. We don't need to worry about AGW - it is a scientific impossibility.

Environments all over the world are changing as a result of global warming.?

    could this influence natural selection?

    A. yes. traits that help individuals produce more offspring in warmer environments will increase in frequency.

    B. Yes. mutations occur more frequently in hot environments.

    C. No. the environment is always changing. global warming is nothing new.

    D. No. the only change will be that species from hot environments will expand their ranges.Environments all over the world are changing as a result of global warming.?Ans: A;

Sure, It is the environment which selects the best fit organisms. The organisms which have survival traits will survive the hot condition and other may adopt to the conditions, failing which results in the extinction of speciesEnvironments all over the world are changing as a result of global warming.?Actually, E. None of the above. Environments are changing, but it's not as simple as %26quot;they're getting warmer%26quot;. C is partially right, but I would drop the second sentence and change the 'no' to a 'yes'. Global warming and cooling have happened before in the Earth's history; the question about the present period of warming is whether the driving forces behind it can overwhelm the normal, natural processes that affect global climate patterns, and push the Earth into a new and undetermined pattern (at least in the geologic short term of the next few million years or so). In terms of natural selection, though, the causes of the change are less important than the changes themselves. What really counts is the rate of change - If the changes are gradual enough to allow a population to adjust over the normal life and breeding cycles, then fine; if the changes are faster than the organisms in a population can react to, then natural selection becomes simply a %26quot;yes/no%26quot; thing rather than a %26quot;bad/good/better/best%26quot; thing. Organisms that presently can handle a wider range of conditions are more likely to manage, while more specialized organisms that are finely tuned to only certain sorts of conditions will probably become extinct if they aren't mobile enough to move from refuge to refuge.

  • Will changing the timing on my 89 Toyota truck give me more power..?

i have a 89 22re 4*4 toyota pick up and seem to lack power on hills and slight inclines, what can i do to get pull more power from the engine, had the compression checked and it is great . Is ther a way to adjust the timing to yeild more power...

thanks...Will changing the timing on my 89 Toyota truck give me more power..?Could be a plugged up catalytic converter, dirty fuel injectors, dirty air filter, weak coil, worn out plugs, do a tune up and make sure you have good air flow. Will changing the timing on my 89 Toyota truck give me more power..?Advancing the 'base' timing will yield slightly more power, but the engine will susceptible to more 'ping' under load. Tune up? Is timing chain/belt sloppy/worn? Check the basics to bring engine back to factory specs. Will changing the timing on my 89 Toyota truck give me more power..?If you have an ignition or other misfire of some of your cylinders, you may not feel it, but your %26quot;knock sensor%26quot; will and it then retards your timing and you lose power, especially on hills when the spark plugs are hardest to fire under heavy engine load. So make sure your spark plug wires aren't leaking spark off the wires to ground by parking the truck in a real dark spot so that you can look at the engine while you punch the accelerator and see if there's any visible sparks jumping around the plug wires. If so, check the continuity of each wire and you can use plastic %26quot;wire loom%26quot; to put around the plug wire where the spark is leaking off. If the plug wires have never been replaced, replace with a good set of wires. Will changing the timing on my 89 Toyota truck give me more power..?Sorry...changing the timing will not produce more power. If the vehicle timing is slightly advanced you might feel more power off the line but the truck will %26quot;ping%26quot; under a load, hence too far advanced. Also remember if you alter the timing the truck might not pass a %26quot;smog%26quot; inspection if your state requires one.

Toyota trucks with a 4 cylinder are not that powerful, but very fuel efficient.

Will legally changing my name will prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?

And will it prevent me from owning a gun as well?

It's because I been having family problems %26amp; I DON'T want to relate to my parents anymore. I just want them out of my life %26amp; live in a future I want to live in.Will legally changing my name will prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective? Not unless you did it for fraudulent reasons. A legal name change should not affect anything. Will legally changing my name will prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective?i dont think so but try looking that up in the internetWill legally changing my name will prevent me from becoming a Private Investigator or any kind of Detective? If the name change is legal, then no. It won't prevent you from owning a gun either. When a background check is done for a gun, they will use various other identifiers, such as a Social Security number, that will stay the same regardless of what your name is. If you were convicted of a crime, changing your name won't eliminate your record. If you weren't, and your name change was legal, they would have no grounds to deny you a gun or the chance to become a PI.

How will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?

I am a teenager, and I have been raised Southern Baptist. But I am seriously considering (and I very probably will) converting to a Reform Jew. My question is; how will my lifestyle change? Will I be so different from other kids my age? How will I dress, talk, and behave? Ect. Can I get an overview of my teenage Jew lifestyle from here on out?How will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?It sounds to me like you don't really know all that much about Judaism, if you have such sweeping questions about how your life will change on the outside (let alone the inside). What makes you think that Judaism is right for you, and if Judaism, why specifically Reform Judaism?

I can understand having some trepidation about things changing (that's perfectly normal), but if you are not willing to make major changes, or do not feel comfortable with changes that are outside your comfort level, maybe you should explore other paths within Christianity first. Have you looked into Unitarianism at all? It shares almost the same worldview and philosophy as Reform Judaism (doesn't believe Jesus was divine, believes that all people of all faiths go to the same place after death, believes in social justice, etc), but you don't have to give up Christmas or church, or the philosophy of Jesus, if those are important to you.

On the other hand, if you are looking to overhaul your way of life and want a faith system that encompasses all aspects of living, then you might want to explore all the different branches of Judaism before choosing Reform. Understanding exactly what it is you are planning to reject from Jewish law before you actually reject it, may make your decision easier.

Many Reform converts eventually end up converting again either Conservative or Orthodox, because they find that what they love most about the faith are practices and beliefs that Reform Jews by and large reject, and after putting so much work into conversion they want to be accepted by the entire Jewish community and not just by other Reform Jews. So it's best to know in advance what it is you are choosing.

By the way, it is not an easy process to convert to Judaism, even in the most liberal branches. Expect one to two full years of study once you are accepted into a conversion program - and don't expect to be accepted right off the bat. Since no reputable rabbi will accept you as a student until you turn 18 at the earliest, technically speaking you won't be a teenager anymore by the time you are officially Jewish. How will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?A lot of that will be your decision. There will be a lot of learning, and no one can help a young convert under 18 if the parents do not consent.

Conversion is a long process, one that takes real dedication to go back even after being turned away. It will likely involve circumcision, and maybe following the laws of kashrut. I'd discuss it more with your rabbi. How will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?Here's my question (BTW, Jews are known for answering a question with another question LOL) Why do you want to convert to Reform Judaism?

If it won't make a difference in you life, why bother.

If it will, you must have a really good reason and know exactly what you want to change.

    Try this;

Finish this sentence %26quot;If I convert to Reform Judaism, I want to change____________%26quot;How will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?I'm a Jewish Reform teen, I'm involved heavily with Temple, but I remain %26quot;normal%26quot; I guess. Religion doesn't totally dictate my life, but God still comes into mind when I'm faced with decisions. Honestly Reform Judaism is probably perfect for me.

Judaism has no effect on how I behave, dress or talk. The three of those will only change if you're an Othodox Jew, which is REALLY extreme. You'll be totally normal, it's nothing to be ashamed of, and the community that you'll be absorbed into is so loving and caring. It's pretty much gonna be a second family to you.

You'll be no different from kids your age.

Good luck:]How will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?ask your rabbiHow will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?Drastically , youre beard will grow 3 feet

Thats if youre a guyHow will life change if I convert to a Reform Jew?moving from one delusion to another, say no to reigion

What diet and exercise changes will i need if im going into a high altitude environment?

im going to new zeland for a ten day snow-boarding holiday with my school, and i need to know what diet and exercise changes i will need to make before entering this high altitude environment.

Thanks. What diet and exercise changes will i need if im going into a high altitude environment? When you're at high altitude, there is less oxygen and results to the heart working harder. While it is good for endurance, it could also make you sick. In this case, you have to drink more water and stay away from alcohol. You also need to minimize on the salt and eat regular carbs. One thing to remember when you're still starting your exercise in high altitude is to work slowly. You need to be sure your body gets used to the amount of oxygen before you push it to the limit. What diet and exercise changes will i need if im going into a high altitude environment?Just make sure you're in good shape with cardio activities and you're goodWhat diet and exercise changes will i need if im going into a high altitude environment?Stay indoors. What diet and exercise changes will i need if im going into a high altitude environment?Try to make your metabolism go fast and see it will work...

What behavioral changes will a neutered kitten experience after the surgery?

My 6-month old kitten is very playful and active. He runs around everywhere and loves to play with me and people in general. If I get him neutered, will he change? Is he going to become lazy and inactive? What behavioral changes will a neutered kitten experience after the surgery? It shouldn't make a difference. I just got my male cat neutered six days ago and he was back to normal about two days after he got done. when you get him home he'll be very sleepy and probably the next day too. but he'll go back to normal. I haven't ever heard of a cat changing after being neutered. I think your all set. Trust me you'll want to get him neutered once he starts spraying. What behavioral changes will a neutered kitten experience after the surgery? His personality won't change and he won't become lazy. Neutering is simply going to eliminate his desire to look for a female to mate with, and because he won't be so territorial, he's unlikely to begin spraying.

  • What topographical changes will there be when you build on a cliff?

I'm doing a geology project and we have to make a topographical map of a %26quot;pretend cliff%26quot;. We have to draw a topographical map of the elevation of the cliff before building and then after building. First of all, how will the elevation of the cliff change? Second of all, is there an online topographical map maker? What topographical changes will there be when you build on a cliff?Topo maps are easy to make with a pencil and by following the rules of contouring.

If you encounter a cliff on a topo map you have a very rapid change in elevation. This means your contours are going to be really, really close together.

I don't know how the elevation of the cliff will change if you build on it. Technically it wouldn't, unless you are taking some of the land out to build on, which would then make the elevation less. What topographical changes will there be when you build on a cliff?1. the contours below the building will be dashed lines, and contours at the building will follow the shape of bld.

Will changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?

I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent 1.6L with 156000KM, orig. Timing beltWill changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?As Lover stated, no. BUT if it breaks and you have what is know as an %26quot;interference%26quot; engine, meaning the valves and pistons can hit each other in the case of a valve timing descrepency, you will have a very expensive mess on your hands. Either way you'll be stuck with a tow bill as well whether you have an interference engine or not, Id go in and get yours changed with that mileage Im sure its due and it'll be much cheaper now than after it's too late.

Good luck! Will changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late? The timing belt does NOT increase performance.

It is swapped out before it breaks and cause huge engine damage.

Good Luck...Will changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?If the belt is wore out then yes it well put the car back to normal power. as a old worn out belt well cause the car to lose some performance. but it won't increase the power past stock..Will changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?does not improve preformance should have been changed around 75000 get it changed if it breaks, poss new engine so get it chscked prontoWill changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?it wont increase the performance not unless it was off a notch, but it will help assure you that its not going to jump timing, its more of maintenance issue than anything else, but if not repaced and it jumps timing it can become a major issue on a repaair bill, good luck. Will changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?It will but only a slight amount, simply du to getting timing back to specs. The reason for changing is they become worn and will break. If they break... most smaller modern engine are zeroe clearance and that means when it breaks the pistons will hit the valves causing major enhine damage. If you have 156,000 miles on original belt... you are only about 100,000 over when you SHOULD change it.Will changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?CHANGE IT to prevent engine damage and have a new tensioner and waterpump installed at the same time. these latter two items support the timing belt and while this is not cheap it is less costly then and componet dying and warping the valves.

and yes as the mileage and years go by the belt does strech some and the timing componets move off the marks some causing some preformance loss it's just so gradual you don't notice it..

it's like waking up one day and noticing hey YOU have aged some. it sneaks up on u and wham it's there it was just so gradual you didn't notice the loss.

but do have the belt changed with the water pump t/belt tensioner and a thermostat it will save you money in the long runWill changing a Timing Belt increase a cars performance at all? Or is it just good to change b4 too late?any car Remember Changing timing belt you need to change or replaced a water pump too. or your engine blow up.

Will changing a WPA to a WEP affect the computer/laptop in any way?

I need to change the WPA to a WEP so that I may connect with the nintendo DS. Will changing it affect the laptop or the computer in any way? Will it change settings or anything else on the computer/laptop?Will changing a WPA to a WEP affect the computer/laptop in any way?Yes it will.

It will make the wireless part of your network less secure (WPA is a better encryption code than WEP).

You will have to put the new WEP key into your laptop and switch it to WEP.

Cabled computers won't see any difference.

Hope that helps. Will changing a WPA to a WEP affect the computer/laptop in any way?WEP keys can be broken in as little as 60 seconds with off-the-shelf hardware and software.

The stupidest kid on your block could crack your WEP key effortlessly.

Continue to use WPA or even bump it up to WPA2, since even WPA has vulnerabilities that can allowed script kiddies to crack your WPA passphrase.

Ditch the Nintendo DS. It is outdated, garbage that you will not easily get to work with your router even with using WEP. You will also have to reduce the speed of your wireless network to use the DS.

My suggestion if you still want to use your DS on the internet is to buy a cheap 802.11b router and connect the DS to that without any security and unplug the power cable to that router when you're not using the DS.

Seriously, if you just bought the DS, take it back and buy an iPod Touch. The technology in the DS dates for 2003 and is horribly outdated.

Does changing transmission fluid make check engine light go off?

My 2005 Honda Accord has the check engine light on. Overall it runs just fine and we do oil changes regularly. My husband says it could use a transmission fluid change. I don't recall if a transmission fluid change has been done on that one since we got married.Does changing transmission fluid make check engine light go off?buy something from an American company and you wouldn't have these problems, I couldn't care less if they are made in America the profit still goes to japan and puts our people out of workDoes changing transmission fluid make check engine light go off?no...you need a scan to see what the lite indicates,,,theres about 50 or 75 things the computer can sense....free scan most auto parts stores,,[80 to 100 dollars dealerDoes changing transmission fluid make check engine light go off?Not sure there. Normally the check engine light could be caused by a faulty fuel cap, or a blown O2 sensor. Other factors like low fluids might cause it to go off. If you haven't changed the tranny fluid in awhile, I suggest you do that to make your transmission happy. Those can be really expensive to replace. If that doesn't work, try changing out the gas cap.

If that fails, go down to checker auto parts or auto zone. They generally will hook up a hand held computer to your car and run a diagnostic FOR FREE to see what the issue is. And will tell you what is recommended to turn it off. Good luck.Does changing transmission fluid make check engine light go off?Transmission fluid and check engine light don't really play together..Get the code scanned and figure out the check engine light and do change the fluid in your transmission..Use Honda fluid!!!

My hardest adjustment was dealing with the dead bodies and handling them, it caused a lot of nightmares and issues for me. Good luck. What psychological changes will my rookie policeman husband go through? It affects everyone differently. In my experience, yes, there is some pessimism and certainly some cynicism. However, coping mechanisms are a strange thing. Some men are able to not bring their work home with them. Others can't help it. My uncle is a cop and I never noticed much of a change. Being a cop is a tough job. When dealing with the underbelly of society, how can you not expect him to change? People lie to cops a lot, so he will probably grill you more.

What if work is being done on the street and they shut your water off?%26quot; It's like, duh. Obviously, if I can't, then I don't take a shower. So he's all about the semantics. It can drive you crazy!

Just be patient and work on your communication. Also, it's important to set up boundaries. There are going to be some things he can't talk about that happen at work. Don't push him. There are going to be some things you don't want to hear about. Tell him to keep some things to himself.

Changing ISP will my IP address change too?

I am currently with Orange and am changing to a new broadband provider today. I know that each computer has its own IP address, it that determined by the broadband provider or does it stay the same even if you move?Changing ISP will my IP address change too?Yes, your IP address will be changed if you change ISP.

You can easily track what is your IP address now and what will be when you change your ISP with IP trackers:

    http://www.ipaddresslocation.org

http://www.find-ip-address.orgChanging ISP will my IP address change too?Normally it won't change ur system IP but ISP (internet service provider) hv plan like dynamic IP/static IPChanging ISP will my IP address change too?Yup. In fact, unless you have a business account, your IP changes just about every time your modem reconnects (whether dial-up, DSL, or cable).Changing ISP will my IP address change too?Your IP Address will change when you change ISP, yes, but unless you are running some sort of server out of your home, this shouldn't effect you.Changing ISP will my IP address change too?It will change. Each ISP is registered a block of IPs.Changing ISP will my IP address change too? You're actually asking two different questions here.

The I.P. Addresses that each of your computers have, are what's known as a Private I.P. Address, my guess is a Class C Private IP Address (192.168.x.y)

This is not based on your ISP but is rather provided to the computers by the router, unless you set it up each computer's IP manually. If you're asking this question, my guess is you have not.

Your IP Address as it is provided by the ISP is going to be one of any number of IPs owned within their IP Block.

    (Note: Could be anything other than 10.x.y.z, 127.x.y.z, 172.16.x.y - 172.32.x.y, 169.254.x.y OR 192.168.x.y)

Easiest way to see what it is at any given time is to visit a website which tells you your IP, such as www.whatismyip.com

This is what's known as your Public IP, and unless you pay to lease a %26quot;Static IP%26quot; this will change every time you log off of the internet (With Cable/DSL this usually means turning off your modem, though some ISPs do force a rotation/maximum connection time.)

Even if you did pay to lease a static IP, the IP is leased from inside the ISPs network block, and as such you would be facing a change of IP, there are no laws around IP portability the way there are around Phone# Portability.

If I traveled into the past and change history will I be changing my own timeline or creating a new timeline?

and my own timeline stays the same?If I traveled into the past and change history will I be changing my own timeline or creating a new timeline?Well, there are two theories. Basically the %26quot;Back to the Future%26quot; method, where you change the future but somehow don't affect the timeline that you existed in before you jumped back (hence, you existed to travel back), or Terminator rules, where you can affect the future but never jump forward to see what happened next.

People say that if you were changing your own timeline, you wouldn't have been able to jump back in the first place, which is a time paradox.

Some say that if you go back and change something in the past, you immediately branch off infinite other timelines that could have occurred because of that difference, but you wont' know it, because you'll still exist from your own frame of reference within any timeline that you may have previously existed.

Then there's the time travel is impossible.

I personally enjoy the thought that time travel isn't necessarily impossible, it's just that when you fire up your machine, nothing will happen, because any changes that you're going to make in the past must have already happened, or else you wouldn't be in that position to change things in the first place. You might travel through time, but when you get back, it will be the same as you left it, in every detail. If I traveled into the past and change history will I be changing my own timeline or creating a new timeline?Hi MARK....Very Nice Explaination. You are an wise man...keep it up.

If I traveled into the past and change history will I be changing my own timeline or creating a new timeline?Time travel has been proved impossible until now... When something goes at a higher speed than the speed of light, it gains mass, it doesnt go back in time... And that was the best theory supporting time travel, so dont even wonder in the impossibleIf I traveled into the past and change history will I be changing my own timeline or creating a new timeline? If you traveled back in time, you would be in the past. Because the past already happened in your own time, you would contribute whatever happened in the present day. If you were to bring something from the past to the present, Lincoln for example, the present day would be different, but because the past already happened, Lincoln would be compelled to return to the post Civil War to do his Reconstruction and then get killed, then the world would move on and history would be the same.

On the other hand there is this thing called the grandfather paradox where if you killed your grandpa before he had kids, you could cease to exist in both past and present.

either way, this is confusing stuff and impossible. If I traveled into the past and change history will I be changing my own timeline or creating a new timeline?Through Einstein's theory of time dilation we can understand how to move forward through time more quickly than our accustomed speeds, though we're still currently limited to the relatively slow speeds of human technology. If traveling backwards in time is possible, then the method used to travel back may determine whether or not you're affecting your original time line or creating a new one and only affecting that. I'm partial to the %26quot;new time line%26quot; idea, meaning if you went back in time and killed Hitler prior to WWII, the would-be victims of that time line may be spared the holocaust but it would not undo the acts done in the time line you left. Likewise, if you went back in time and prevented your mother and father from meeting there would be no %26quot;new%26quot; you born in that time line, but you the traveler would not cease to exist since your parents would have still met and given birth to you in your original time line.

Will changing rear discs improve handbrake?

My car failed it's MOT on 2 points.

    %26quot;Rear brake discs excessively pitted%26quot;

    %26quot;parking brake efficiency below requirements%26quot;

Obviously I'm going to need new discs but if I change them will it also improve the handbrake as it only just failed on that part. Or failing that would a combination of new discs and adjusting the cable improve brakes? Don't really want to have to buy new shoes.

Car is a Saxo VTR by the way. Will changing rear discs improve handbrake?handbrake in most cars depends on a separately shoes lied behind the discs and there is no relation between them, so check if your car handbrake has the shoes and if so all you want is only an adjustment to these shoes. Will changing rear discs improve handbrake?hi there when you remove your discs check the depth of your brake pads against recommended depth in haines manual then act accordingly. if these are fine new discs and quick cable adjustment should be enough.

bonny sWill changing rear discs improve handbrake?Installing new brakes on the rear will definitely help

the handbrake if the cable is in good shape.

With rear disc brakes you don't have shoes. You have

disc pads, and those are much less expensive than

the shoes used on drum brakes.

Will changing from wired connection to wireless interupt download?

OK, I'm on a laptop, wired connection downloads faster so it's wired right now, I also have built in wireless and I want to use my desktop, which is where I got the eathernet cord from, is there a way to change over from wired connection to wireless connection (both are connected at the moment but download was started with wireless disabled) without interuptiing my download?

    Thx in advance

arledgetdWill changing from wired connection to wireless interupt download?yes. when you switch over from wired to wireless connection the download will restartWill changing from wired connection to wireless interupt download? No because the computer can only handle one ip address at a time and it will only be able to change from wireless to wired once the wireless connection releases the ip address. Will changing from wired connection to wireless interupt download?I'm pretty sure I've done it before, but can't say for certain, not that this helps. I think it also depends on what you are using to download something. If it's like a P2P thing, then I know you should be fine, but using firefox or whatever, can't be sure. Will changing from wired connection to wireless interupt download? If you will disconnect the ethernet without activating the wireless then it will definitely interrupt the download but if you will activate the wireless(make sure wireless is already connected and has valid ip address and all) then disconnect the ethernet the download will not be interrupted.

  • Will changing my laptop fan affect any data loss?

Well my laptop has started doing these awful noises today, but after some research I found out the problem is from the fan. Before taking to a technician I was wondering if either changing or cleaning the fan, will I lose data?

Also my DVD R/RW is not working, if it is changed will it also affect loss from my hard disk, as because it is functioning I am not able to back up. And is it that expensive to change this? Will changing my laptop fan affect any data loss?In principle, replacing the fan or the DVD drive in a laptop should not affect the hard disk at all. HOWEVER, it is always a good idea to make sure you have a usable backup before doing any work on a machine: accidents do happen.

I realize that making backups is going to be harder since the DVD drive isn't working. You might see if you could borrow an external DVD or CD drive that connects via USB. Perhaps the technician who will be working on it can suggest something.

For desktops, parts are pretty standard; but laptops, because of their size constraints, sometimes use special parts. The good news is that replacing a fan and a DVD drive are straightforward jobs that don't require diagnosis, just taking out the old part and putting in the new. SO the tech should be able to give you a firm estimate of the cost before beginning. Will changing my laptop fan affect any data loss? For the fan, it shouldn't. It starts to act lame because it's old and there must be dust in it. A solution is to just take it apart and spray it with a can from Office Depot.

For the DVD-RW, it depends on brand and the pricing. Many range from 80-150, but some like Sony may be ridiculously expensive. Will changing my laptop fan affect any data loss?no. youur data is on the hdd. unless you change or damaged your hdd, our data is safe. Will changing my laptop fan affect any data loss?Unless you are really bad at your job (or the tech is) neither of those things will affect your hard drive, and therefore your data. The only way it could is if you maybe left it powered on when you do that (really stupid), or if you drop your hard drive while dismantling the laptop (really clumsy), or if you bring a magnet near the hard drive (Even stupider).

Will changing my old analog thermostat to a digital save me any money?

it could by having set exactly to a certain temperature, with those others they me be off a little, so it may not be reading the correct temperature or you may be setting it up more than you really want to. Its nice to be able to set a timer on it too, turn it down at night and set it to turn up about an hour beofre we get up. Also nice to be able to see what the temp is in the house since it has the digital readout. So i guess you could say i highly recommend it. weve have had ours for about 4 years now and have notice a change in the heating bill and have only had to change the batteries once. Good Luck. Will changing my old analog thermostat to a digital save me any money? It may. If you find your old thermostat is sticking off too long and taking too long to kick on, it will.

I just swapped out mine for a digital one and find the house much more comfortable. It was defiantly worth the $14 I spent on a digital programmable thermostat I found on sale at OSH.

P.S. I'm still trying to figure out what this has to do with home theater. Will changing my old analog thermostat to a digital save me any money? If you are away from home for long periods of time then you can lower your temperature (or raise it in summer if you use A/C) and save yourself some money. Will changing my old analog thermostat to a digital save me any money?yessa

Will changing a blu ray video's format change the quality?

I downloaded this blu ray video and I wanted to see if it played on my ps3. The format was .mkv so it wouldn't play so I changed to format to MPEG-4 format. I used this converter and it gave options about the quality. I chose all the best quality and i'm just wondering if changing the format means the quality is less. Will changing a blu ray video's format change the quality?Modifying from one %26quot;lossy%26quot; format to another always affects quality. However, it all depends on what you can live with.

For instance, CD is perfect quality but MP3 is a compressed version of the same music (with some parts thrown away - hence it's %26quot;lossy%26quot;). But for most of us MP3 is more than good enough as an equivalent.

So long as the resolution and framerate stays the same then it's unlikely to be too much loss, however the truth is in your own eyes (and ears). If it has changed the resolution (say from 1080 to 720) then you could see the difference.

However you haven't said what you're playing it back on - if you're watching the video on a HD Ready 720p TV then you wouldn't notice the difference. If you're watching the video on a standard definition TV then it's doubtful you'll notice any difference.

If you really want to see what converting from one lossy format to another causes issues then i'd suggest you try converting a music file from MP3 to another format and back again... then listen to the originals and see what you think.

Hope that helps??Will changing a blu ray video's format change the quality?Anytime you change format it will affect the quality of the video. Blue Ray Disc movies are 1080P format, changing format will degrade the 1080P.

When I remake a website keeping the domain name but changing subdomains, will it effect my searchengine rank?

I am currently redesigning a website which is getting a full revamp. My question is, when I redesign pages and change the names of subdomains will it effect how the site ranks on search engines? I will be keeping the meta tags the same but could also possibly be changing the webhost. Any help and information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. When I remake a website keeping the domain name but changing subdomains, will it effect my searchengine rank?Switching web hosts will not effect your ranking but changing sub-domain names will.

It will take the search engines a few months to pick up on the new sub-domain names so if you must change the name I suggest using a redirect instead of deleting that sub domain all together. Once your new subdomain names are ranking with the search engines then you can remove the redirect (if) you want to.

Changing the content will also effect it, for better or for worse, it depends on your situation.

Here is the host i use and their awesome :)

Good Luck! When I remake a website keeping the domain name but changing subdomains, will it effect my searchengine rank?My answer is Yes, Your PR can be go down because search engines decide PR according to Back links and Page content not from meta tags.. If you do not change subdomains and content ( design can change ) then there will be no problem in Page Rank or Search engine rank

    I hope it helps you.

I upgraded my car speakers, will changing the stock car radio, give me a better sound?

i install 2 pair of Pioneer 4 ways speakers, with 280max watt. (model number TS-A16683R)

if i changed the stock radio, will it give me a better sound? the old speakers that the car had was Stock Clarion 40 max watt Speakers.

thanksI upgraded my car speakers, will changing the stock car radio, give me a better sound? It may sound okay until you turn the stereo up to a high volume, you may experience alot of distortion or even cause the factory unit to short out under the added pressure. Id purchase the Pioneer DEH-1100MP head unit, for $89 its a phenominal head unit, the one in my tahoe was a bit big for the DIN so its not fastened but doesnt skip whatsoever, just steer clear of sony, or dual, or anything extremely cheap, for the pioneers, id use a 4 channel amp, or possibly a 5 channel amp with 1 channel for a sub incase youd like to add a small sub to the mix. heres a few amp suggestions: Kenwood KAC-8404 4 channel 600W max amp, Kicker 08XZ2004 4 channel 200W amp, JBL LC-A504 Loud And Clear series 4 channel amp, those are all good choices for what your looking for. if you have any more questions for me feel free to email me @ dmctech12@yahoo.com or instant message me @ dmctech12.I upgraded my car speakers, will changing the stock car radio, give me a better sound?yes it will. after market radios deliver more power...~50Wx4 while a stock stereo delivers much less. to get the most out of your new speakers though youll need to get a new radio and an amplifier that will deliver the maximum voltage to your speakers.I upgraded my car speakers, will changing the stock car radio, give me a better sound? Not necessarily. Most after market stereos that claim to have 50 watts per channel really don't. Make sure the power is rated in RMS power not dynamic power. Advertised dynamic power of 50 watts translate to something like 17 wats RMS at best. Best to get a good power amp.

Will changing my last name interfere with the SS benefits that I get since my father has retired?

I do not want his last name. I would prefer to have my mothers. I am willing to pay for the process out of my own pocket. But... will this be a problem for my SS benefits? I am receiving $500 a month because my father has retired and I am under 18 (I'm turning 18 in October). Just wondering... I don't want to screw myself over. Will changing my last name interfere with the SS benefits that I get since my father has retired?I can't imagine why you would want to complicate your life like this unless your name was Hogg, or Hitler or something like that

Imagine you are applying for a job and you said you went to ABC school, your perspective employer calls and they say %26quot;no record%26quot;, they are not going to go back and forth with you 14 times on a name change - they will move on to the next candidate

I suspect there is something of a personal nature behind this - but do know it will not be as practical or easy as you might think - your name change will have to be reflected in school records, bank accounts, drivers license, credit cards and a whole bunch of other things

Good luck - you will need it - that and a boatload of time and patienceWill changing my last name interfere with the SS benefits that I get since my father has retired? It shouldn't. A note just gets added to your SS file that you changed your name. However, why not just wait until you are 18 and no longer get the benefits.

I am curious that if your father retired and is still living, how you are collecting SS benefits from him.

    Slim.

    %26quot;will he treat the next this bad too?%26quot;

Of course. Prison doesn't rehabilitate people, it only makes them angrier. It gives them %26quot;The world is out to get me%26quot; syndrome. Few convicts ever say to themselves, %26quot;Wow, I really messed up. I think I'll fly straight from now on.%26quot; Most of the time they get frustrated at how society treats convicts and wind up back in jail.

Stay away from him. Try to get full custody with only SUPERVISED visitation rights. It would be better if his parental rights were stripped all together. Your child doesn't need to be exposed to that kind of stuff. What is the likely hood of a 39 year old man changing his ways and not being abusive? He really isn't going to change, and anyway, it's down to him to show you that he has, not slip back into his old ways. Do NOT let him in your house or back into your life as he will eventually hurt you and maybe even this time the baby too. You have a duty of care to that child that over-rides any love you have for this man. What is the likely hood of a 39 year old man changing his ways and not being abusive? He will not treat you better.

If he cared then he would be treating you good from the very beginning.

Also women are treated this way because they allow themselves to be.

Yes he will treat whoever he is with this way.

And he will continue to treat you this way.

Baby daddy or not say goodbye and get out of there for good. What is the likely hood of a 39 year old man changing his ways and not being abusive?Well you've already said he STILL talks down to you now, right? So why are you even asking if he's going to change or if he has changed? You answered your own question already. Guys like this almost never change and yours obviously hasn't. Nobody deserves this. Nobody deserves to be treated this way despite anything he's telling you.... whether he's telling you that you don't deserve any better. You do. And yes, I'm sure he'd treat anyone else he was with this way. Guys like this don't know any different or any better and they very rarely change. Please don't allow yourself to be treated this way. What is the likely hood of a 39 year old man changing his ways and not being abusive?Anytime you are waiting for someone to change you are wasting your time

A more pressing issue is why do you want to be with a man who abuses you... especially when you have children. You need to set the example for them and let them grow up in a healthy environment. What is the likely hood of a 39 year old man changing his ways and not being abusive? The change can happen if he wants it to.
