Will changing you ip evade a gamebattles ban?

I will just make a new user after I power off the modem for 24 hours, will this work? Will changing you ip evade a gamebattles ban?Powering off the modem may not renew the IP. I had ours offline for at least 13 hours and still got the same IP when we came back online. It depends whether your ISP hands out static IPs. Ours does. They *will* change it if we can show legitimate cause for doing so. Avoiding a ban won't cut it.

And it depends how they work out where you are from. We had great fun catching out one kid who used to mess around in a forum pretending to be different people (frequently at the same time) but we worked out who it was each time despite the change in IP address. Wouldn't take long either. As soon as someone started playing up, we checked IP addresses and his would always be so close to his old one, we'd know it was him. That's what will happen to you, too. His changed every couple of minutes and we still knew it was him as soon as he turned up and every post he made. Took him a while before he got it that we really DID know who he was EVERY time. Will changing you ip evade a gamebattles ban?It will if by powering your modem off really change your IP address.

If you know your previous IP address, make sure that your IP address is a different one before creating a new user ( http://whatismyipaddress.com/ ).

Hope this helps :)Will changing you ip evade a gamebattles ban?The best way to change your IP address is through a proxy. The website has banned your computers IP address, but if you use an IP changer, then you can continue visit the site. I've been using a product from a software called Private Proxy. The software will change your IP address every thirty minutes, so if they try to ban you again... You檒l be able to able to return 30 minutes later under a new IP. The software will provide you with up to 10 different IP's under 4 different servers for maximum security. Visit the source below for more information.
