Will changing rims on a BMW 325i affect the tire gage reader?

I want to change the rims that I have on my 2006 325i, will changing the rims to a different type affect the tire gage reader. Also will I be able to continue to use my run flat tire. Will changing rims on a BMW 325i affect the tire gage reader?I believe you are asking will changing rims affect the tire pressure monitoring system. The answer is simple. Yes it will if the sensors in the rims are not swapped out, your tpms light will turn on on the dash. Will it affect your car, only the monitor will be affected, if you can live with the light on, its ok. Can you use your run flat? that depends on if you are using the same size rim, if so, you should be able to.Will changing rims on a BMW 325i affect the tire gage reader?New wheels won't change the speedometer, if that's what you mean by gage reader (not sure...). The spare tire won't change, so it should be okay as well.

Now, if you are going to buy tires as well, and you are changing sizes, then that may cause a change in the speedometer. You should measure the tires you have top to bottom, and try to get new ones of similar size, that will minimize any changes. Will changing rims on a BMW 325i affect the tire gage reader? It will not affect you tire pressure gauge. I am assuming you are keeping the same tires. Be careful that your new rims will fit your Bmw. You need to make sure your new rims have the proper %26quot;offset%26quot; and %26quot;bolt pattern%26quot;. This will affect your handling greatly and in most cases will not fit at all. If you are getting them from a tire shop you have little worries. They have all that info.
