With everything as is I know this truck passes smog testing but I want to put on a newer and better sounding exhaust muffler. Will putting this on change the emissions of the car at all? I didnt think it would but I wanted to check with some other people to be sure.Will changing an exhaust muffler on a vehicle change the emissions it puts out? Or not?a full visual inspection as well as a functional test on all OBD monitors and EGR systems. Headers/CAT/mufflers, and K%26amp;N all have CARB exemptions meaning you CANNOT fail the test for fact that they are present.
