I want to change my hosting company to a new one. I want to keep the dame domain name which I have with different company (currently pointing to currecnt hosting).
If I change the hosting company and point my domain (change the ns) to the new hosting company, will it afffect my search ranking and anything else?

The %26quot;trust rank%26quot; of a particular IP address can be used in your rankings in SERPs (search engine results pages). This can affect your results in Google primarily, however, Yahoo!'s algorithm does not appear to judge on this factor (or at least not as dramatically). It could help you improve your rankings too! Especially if your present host has spammy websites on the same machine too.
If you have a dedicated machine, it should not be affected. You may have a slight hiccup if your dns is not configured quickly to move users and crawlers to the new ip.
