Single payer was too much to ask of lawmakers this first time around. According to the Senate version Medicare/Medicaide will be expanded to 55+y/o and small children. You can expect Medicare/Medicaide to fail under the added burden and a new crisis to emerge. The single payer system will be the %26quot;solution.%26quot; When single payer aka universal healthcare comes online; you can expect long lines, rationed care, and a general deterioration of the entire system.
